WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW...

1. TWA Title: Breaker Morant (c) vs. "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino w/ Rob Dimension

- Former TWA Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino was never pinned for the title.
- On April 11, 2010, Tony Stetson pinned the masked Mr Wrestling III, thought to be Corino, for the TWA Title.
- Mr. Wrestling III unmasked to reveal Tommy Thunda of World-1.
- TWA Commissioner Joel Goodhart declared Stetson the winner of the match but not TWA Champion since he did not pin Steve Corino and declared Corino still TWA Champion.
- TWA Promoter/Owner Mike Tartaglia entered the ring and said that Stetson was not the champion and neither was Corino and he was stripping him of the title for failure to show up for a title defense.
- Tartaglia declared the title vacant.
- Breaker Morant, who won a six-man gauntlet match earlier in the evening for a title shot anytime he wants it, demanded a shot for the title right then and there.
- Tartaglia and Goodhart made the match for the TWA Title as the fans were promised a title match, between perennial rivals Tony Stetson and Breaker Morant.
- Morant won the title when Glen Osbourne turned on mentor, teacher and friend of 20 years, Tony Stetson when he smashed a ringside chair over his head.
- On June 5, 2010, a masked Mr. Wrestling III and Rob Dimension came to ringside during the final minutes of the TWA Ringmaster Rumble where the winner would get a title shot later in the evening against Break Morant.
- The presence of the masked man distracted Stetson long enough for Osbourne to throw Stetson out of the ring and win the title shot.
- Mr. Wrestling III and Rob Dimension entered the ring, and Mr. Wrestling III unmasked to reveal not Tommy Thunda, but STEVE CORINO to everyone's shock, as everyone thought that Corino was long gone from the TWA after being stripped of the title.
- Corino and Dimension demanded that they be given back the title that Corino was never pinned for.
-TWA Commissioner Joel Goodhart refused and told Corino he had to work his way back up the ladder and made a match between Corino and Japanese sensation the Metal Master.
- After a hard fought bout, Corino defeated the Metal Master with a sliding lariat.
- Later in the evening, Breaker Morant defeated Osbourne in the TWA Title Match, when Tony Stetson came to the ring and knocked out Osbourne with a chair shot and then knocked out Morant with one also.  Morant fell and landed on Osbourne for the pin.
- After the match both Corino and Osbourne wanted the title match that Stetson was scheduled for the following day, June 6, 2010.
- Goodhart, fed up with all four, changed the match to a 4 Corners Match, 1 Fall, for the TWA Title.
- On June 6, 2010, Breaker Morant pinned Stetson in the 4 Corners Match.
- Following the match, Osbourne attacked Tony Stetson with his 80 lb Steel Chain, setting up the Chain Match for July 11, 2010.
- TWA Commissioner Joel Goodhart made the title match between Morant and Corino to settle the issue of Corino's claims he has still yet to be pinned for the title or by Morant.
- Corino has won over 60 championships in his storied career and claims he will be the first man ever to win the TWA Title on two occasions.
- Corino will finally get his chance to take back what he and Dimension claim is still rightfully his on July 11, 2010.

2. TWA TAG TITLE: "The Best Around" TJ Cannon & Bruce Maxwell (c) vs. Matt & Bryan Logan

- On April 11, 2010, Matt & Bryan Logan defeated Adam Cole and Damian Dragon in a great technical tag team match.
- Following their win, TWA Commissioner Joel Goodhart came to the ring to announce a Tag Team Title Tournament for June 6, 2010, and invited the popular brothers to be the first team entered.
- As the Logans accepted, they were interrupted by "The Best Around" TJ Cannon & Bruce Maxwell (TBA).
- TBA at that point showed up unannounced and were not even on the TWA Roster.
- TBA took exception that the Logans were asked before they were, claiming that they are the best around.
-The Logans angered TBA when they made reference to TBA losing the CZW Tag Team Titles the previous night after holding them for over one year.
- TBA and the Logans got into a physical confrontation where TBA severely injured Bryan Logan’s leg.
- Nick Logan, the third pro wrestling Logan Brother, replaced Bryan and teamed with Matt on June 6, 2010 in the Tag Team Title Tournament.
- Nick and Matt defeated The Colony (Soldier Ant & Green Ant) from Chikara in the 1st round and Billy Bax and Rob Eckos in the semi-final round.
- After defeating Bax and Eckos, the duo attacked and injured Nick Logan's leg and proclaimed on the microphone that TBA "Owes them one!"
- TBA defeated Adam Cole and Damian Dragon in the first round and received a bye into the finals when there was no winner in the first round match (DCOR) between Kid America & Blue Meanie and Nigerian Nightmares.
- Since TBA had a rest from being in the first match of the night and then went to the finals, the Logans were at a disadvantage plus Nick went in the match with an injured leg.
- The Logans came very close to winning the titles before Nick was pinned after the Mark Out Moment, followed by a 450 splash from TBA.
- On July 11, 2010, Bryan will return to the TWA for the first time since April 11 and team with Matt as they go for the TWA Tag Team Titles and revenge against TBA!

3. LUMBERJACK MATCH: "Sensei" Paul Lopresti vs. Johnny Calzone

- On January 31, 2010, one of the TWA's close friends and sponsors, Paul Lopresti was doing a karate demo with one of his youth groups in the ring.
- "Living Legend" Larry Winters took exception to this and claimed that Lopresti was mocking pro wrestling by conducting a karate, MMA demo.
- Winters and his associate, Cujo the Hellhound, attacked Lopresti before being saved by friend and TWA Promoter/Owner, Mike Tartaglia (“The Hitman” Michael Bruno).
- On April 11, 2010, the team of Bruno and the Sensei defeated Winters and Cujo after Winters walked out mid-match and Cujo tapped to the MMA master, the Sensei.
- On June 6, 2010, Paul Lopresti was in the ring presenting a check to the MDA with funds raised from the show when Winters struck again with Don E Allen and Cujo until Michael Bruno, the Blue Meanie and Kid America made the save.
- Since Winters walked out of the tag match in April, TWA Commissioner Joel Goodhart made a Lumberjack Match between the Sensei and Winters, where some of the lumberjacks will be karate and MMA students of the Sensei, for July 11, 2010.
- Winters has claimed since that time, that he was "in a car accident" and will not be there on July 11 and named "The Angry Pizza Man" Johnny Calzone as his replacement.
- Sensei asked that Goodhart not take action against Winters.  He said he will meet Calzone and that sooner or later he will draw out Winters like a rat and get his own justice.

4. CHAIN MATCH: "The Beast" Glen Osbourne vs. "The Hitman" Tony Stetson

- 20 years ago, Tony Stetson trained Glen Osbourne at the TWA Ringmasters Wrestling School; Tony was a teacher, mentor and a friend to Osbourne.
- Both competed in TWA and early ECW.
- In 2002, Stetson retired from professional wrestling, citing the cumulative effects of year's worth of injuries he incurred from wrestling; Breaker Morant, a long-time nemesis of Stetson's claimed credit for retiring "The Hitman."
- Glen Osbourne competed non-stop since 1989 all along the East Coast establishing himself as one of the best wrestlers on the independent scene, winning countless championships and eventually becoming a revered veteran and locker room leader.
- On October 24, 2009, at the TWA Reunion, Stetson came out of retirement to soundly defeat Breaker Morant much to the delight and adulation of the crowd.
- On the same show, "The Beast" Glen Osbourne defeated "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel for the TWA Heavyweight Championship, only a few short hours after Landel was re-instated as champion by TWA Commissioner Joel Goodhart, since Landel was the last TWA Champion when the TWA ceased operation in 1992.
- Osbourne, a crowd favorite, was confused by the reaction of the crowd as many cheered Landel.
- January 31, 2010, Glen Osbourne defended the TWA Heavyweight Title in a Triple Threat Match against Stetson and Steve Corino where the winner of the fall became champion and Osbourne did not have to be pinned to lose the title.
- Corino won the TWA Heavyweight Title when he pinned Stetson.
- Breaker Morant, who won a six-man gauntlet match earlier in the evening for a title shot anytime he wants, demanded a shot for the title right then and there.
- On June 5, 2010, Breaker Morant defeated Osbourne in the TWA Title Match, when Tony Stetson came to the ring and knocked out Osbourne with a chair shot and then knocked out Morant with one also.  Morant fell and landed on Osbourne for the pin.
- After the match both Corino and Osbourne wanted the title match that Stetson was scheduled for the following day, June 6, 2010.
- Goodhart, fed up with all four, changed the match to a 4 Corner's Match, 1 Fall, for the TWA Title.
- On June 6, 2010, Breaker Morant pinned Stetson in the 4 Corners Match.
- Following the match, Osbourne attacked Tony Stetson with his 80 lb Steel Chain, setting up the Chain Match for July 11, 2010.
- Osbourne has said that he was disgusted by the lack of response by the fans citing he fought hard for 20 years to please the fans, and then when Stetson returned he was met with rousing support.  Osbourne feels Stetson took the easy road when he went home for 7 years to heal his injuries, while Osbourne continued to wrestle for 20 years without a break.  Obviously, Osbourne resents the fact that Stetson was pinned in the January 31, 2010 bout by Steve Corino, and costing Osbourne the TWA Heavyweight Championship.

5. GRUDGE MATCH: "The Red, White & BLUE Express" Blue Meanie & Kid America vs. "The Platinum Poppa" Rob Eckos & Mr. Maxx w/ Billy Bax & Carlton P. Hightower

- The Blue Meanie & Kid America, known collectively as "The Red, White & BLUE Express" are arguably the most popular stars on the TWA roster.
- They also are undefeated in the TWA.
- Billy Bax & Rob Eckos are former 2-time East Coat Wrestling Association (ECWA) Tag Team Champions.  Amazingly, their first title reign lasted 2-1/2 years!  Both times, Bax & Eckos were managed by Carlton P. Hightower.
- On June 5, 2010, the RWB Express met the Logan Brothers and Bax & Eckos in a 3-way match that saw Bax & Eckos emerge victorious.
- Bax & Eckos dedicated the win in honor of CPH's birthday, but the party was cut short when Meanie & America smashed Hightower's cake in his face.
- TWA learned that Billy Bax currently has a medical issue and is ordered by his doctor to avoid physical activity for 30 days, but Bax confirmed that he will still be at the July 11 show.
- Hightower promises the match will go on and he has chosen his own personal bodyguard, Mr. Maxx, to be Rob Eckos’ partner for this match.
- Hightower is furious and has warned Meanie and America that their undefeated streak is about to come to a halt.

6. TWA DEBUT MATCH: Chase Del Monte vs. “2008 ECWA Super 8 Champion” Aden Chambers
-  Chase Del Monte makes his TWA debut on July 11.
- He is one of the most charismatic wrestlers on the independent scene and has one of the most energetic ring entrances anywhere.
- Chase, who hails from the Jersey Shore, is best friends with the Logan Brothers.
- Aden Chambers, also making his TWA debut, is the 2008 ECWA Super 8 champion.
- Chase competed in the 2008 Super 8, although he did not draw Chambers as an opponent in the tournament.
- Chase will also be competing in the 2010 Super 8 to be held on Sat, July 10 in Newark, DE.
Go to www.ecwaprowrestling.com for more information.
- If Chase wins on July 10, this match could turn out to be a battle between the 2008 and the 2010 Super 8 champions.
- Chase and Chambers are former friends and tag team partners, but they have NEVER met each other in a singles match.

7. FOUR CORNERS MATCH, ONE FALL, FOR TWA TITLE SHOT: Damian Dragon vs. Adam Cole vs. Ryu Lee vs. “The Midnight Idol” Nicky Benz
- Thus far, Ryu Lee has amassed a great won-loss record in TWA.
- He has defeated Little Mondo, White Lotus, Don E Allen and Johnny Calzone in a gauntlet match before succumbing to Jimmy Jannetty, and his most impressive victory over former TNA/ECW Star Julio Dinero.
- Adam Cole and Damian Dragon are friends and partners.  They have had only two showings in the TWA thus far, as they suffered two losses as a team to both the Logan Brothers and the Best Around.  Both matches were evenly contested and could have really gone either way.  Both gained a lot of respect from the TWA office and fans in their showings.
- Outside of the TWA, both have been successful singles wrestlers.  Adam Cole is the current CZW JR. Heavyweight Champion and the MCW Rage Champion while Dragon is the current WOW Heavyweight Champion.
- Despite their friendship and partnership, both will not hold back even against each other to gain a shot at the TWA Heavyweight Title.
- “The Midnight Idol” Nicky Benz is one of the more colorful characters in the TWA, but the man behind the powder blue tuxedo and the toupee is an accomplished wrestler with all the tools to win this match and the title shot.  Benz has said he will put his comedic antics on the backburner for this match and the TWA will be in for some great wrestling action courtesy of Nick Benz, the wrestler.
