The scheduled card* is as follows...

1. An Over-the-Top-Rope Battle Royal, with the winner earning a title
shot at the NEW TWA Heavyweight Champion, Glen Osbourne, later in the
evening...

At the TWA Reunion Show on October 24th, TWA Commissioner Joel Goodhart
agreed to reinstate "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel as the TWA Heavyweight
Champion
since Landel was the last champion when the promotion became
inactive 17 years ago and Landel had never been beaten for the title.
When Goodhart took this action, he made the scheduled Landel-Osbourne
match later that night a title match and Osbourne went on to win the
championship.

Many in the TWA Locker room have lobbied that they are in fact the
number one contender and deserve a title shot.  In response,
Commissioner Goodhart signed an Over the Top Rope Battle Royal for
December 5th, with the winner becoming the number one contender and
challenging Glen Osbourne in the main event of the Dec. 5 show for the
TWA Heavyweight Championship.
